From Horror Story to Dream Workshop, Thanks to a Dumpster Find

One day I (tripped) over a pile of crap in order to go build something inside the garage. But I was sooooo uninspired. My garage was a messy unorganized horror story begging for a trip to the ER.
And then the Heavens parted and a halo transpired around the perfect fix... a red metal rusted out rack spotted by a dumpster was coming home with me... or ELSE!
The result is the beginnings of morphing 'a messy garage' into 'a dream workshop'.
Make sure you visit the blog post to take in every detail of this amazing splendour... and see what's being tackled next!
Baby steps...
I'm at a loss for words! I can't believe I have so much gorgeous reclaimed wood. And it's all thanks to this amazing organizational junk find.
This metal red rack was spotted in front of a dumpster, bound for demolition. Not happening...
You. Shall. (grunt!) FIT!!! I got two strong guys to throw that thing in the back of my pickup, tied it down tight and hit the side roads home, positively GIDDY.
Sorry neighbours... bear with me a moment... 2 short days (long for them?) to be exact.
A fresh coat of white paint, no junk and I can breathe again. Tip: always GUT vs. shuffle. You'll end up getting rid of more stuff.
Let's see... I'd like THAT piece... noooo... THAT piece. Wonderful! I can see it all now.
Even the oversized boards now have a home. This is the best storage dumpster find I've spotted yet!
From this chaotic mess...
To this... ahhhh. Let's build something! Visit the blog post below to see what I hung the brooms from (it's so cool) and what the wood pile USE to look like... egads...

Couldn't ask for better. Sturdy and easy to get at the lumber.
