Another pallet beauty by DH! He sized this to fit a particular wall in a small guest room. It fascinates me how he can just make things with no plans, prints, etc. Finished with Briwax in Tudor Brown.....makes a fabulous, smooth finish with that rough-hewn look!

Oh wow Christine, my Ed is drooling over your pallet stash! And he's tickled by your encouragement, thanks!! He did stop drooling long enough to ask me to caution you (please disregard if you already knew!) to predrill all that gorgeous oak so it doesn't split. We can't wait to see what you do with it!! Well, I guess we do have a custom home, although it's "just" a single-wide MH in the woods. Pretty cozy and best of all, no mortgage! We both enjoy home improvements and building/refinishing/repurposing so there are always multiple projects going on LOL! Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

Christine, he made this little cutie the other day for next to our dishwasher. I dry brushed it and waxed, then made the little piece to mount a towel hook out of a gnarly ole scrap he was going to toss! :)
