Laundry Room Makeover

Medium
I’m SO happy with my laundry room. It functions like a dream (finally), and rather than being the blight just off my dining room, it is now a space I can allow my eyes to linger on rather than rush past. I no longer have to be embarrassed if I forgot to close the laundry room door when guests take a seat for dinner!
The laundry room now has sleek style, lots and lots of storage, and everyday practical solutions!
Here is what it looked like before: That ironic dingy mustard paint color on the walls… I mean c’mon, who wants to think about dingy mustard yellow when trying to get bright clean laundry??
It may be a small space, but with lots of cabinets, the storage is ideal in this laundry room.
A smart money saving trick was used to inexpensively create a gallery wall in this laundry room!
This laundry houses all our cleaning supplies and tools... some in easy access for the kids to accomplish their chores. These chore checklists (available for print on the blog) keeps the kids on task.
Pretty painted baskets hold our cloths for cleaning.
New floors, new lighting, new hardware, paint, and more contribute to the newly made-over space. Each project is shared on the blog in detail: http://www.homemadebycarmona.com/laundry-room-reveal/

Our laundry room is just big enough for the washer and dryer. I would like to redecorate it, but I'm limited there. When I get a chance, I'll take some pictures of it and post it.
