My son looks like he stepped out of this video game and loves the game. When we gave my granddaughter Princess Zelda's Hyrule Castle for her room, he wanted Link's forest room. His room was a little trickier because we had so much we wanted to put in it. He wanted the Great Deku Tree, a cave, and of course the lofty room/sleeping area Link has but we managed!
Link, ready to save a Princess!
The view from above.
His guest loft.
His loft. The stripes on the walls was supposed to give this area the appearance of a little more height and we though it looked kinda like logs of a tree house.
The ladder leading up. Under his loft beds was painted to look like a cave. The character is always going in cave in the video game.
His toy box, I fashioned an old dresser to look like four treasure chests stacked, from the game.
The view from the closet.
Because every tree dwelling wood elf needs a hammock to rest in, my Link has one.
We brought him into this century with his own communication station! His desktop is the Hyrule symbol.
Above his computer is his tv, the shelf for his cable box was painted to blend in with the trees painted on the walls.
His closet was painted to look like a hollowed out tree.
He even has a "dutch door" like every great tree house!
Here you can see the Great Deku tree. In one of the games, Link must save this tree. Zach (my son) insisted that I paint this tree for him.
