DIY Fire pit and cover
First we made the fire pit and the pea gravel area, then I cut a large circle from a piece of plywood and created a cover for the fire pit. Now it's a table when the pit's not being used.

Painting: Need design help with brick wall/fireplace
I am at a lost as to what to do with this wall. The rustic style is not my thing. This wall is at the end of the den/dining room. We can't remove the wood insert as it has a depth of 6-8 inches. Any suggestions? Paint it?
