Waterfalls can be located at a ponds edge or they can be the start to a long and winding stream. Waterfalls will add beauty and sound to any yard. If you hire a contractor to build a waterfall make sure you hire one that's certified. Don't allow someone to practice in your yard. Get the job done right the first time. Properly installed pond netting should be pulled tight and raised off of the surface of the pond. Doing this keeps the leaves up off of the water and allows you to use a leaf blower to blow them off. Too many leaves (especially wet ones) may sag the net down into the pond. For more information on Ponds and Pond Maintenance go to www.premierpond.com

If your pond is in an area where there are a lot of falling leaves you may want to think about having it netted before the leaves start to fall. Covering your pond with a net does not mean you can't still enjoy it. Here's a perfect example of how a pond can still look great even with a net on it.
