Hi Hometalkers,

Time for the Great Flooring Debate! When it comes to kitchen floors, there is usually no middle ground: You either love your floor or you hate it! Where do you "stand" on these five types ...»
of flooring? What do you have and more importantly, do you like it?

* Cork

* Bamboo

* Hardwood

* Tile

* Vinyl

    I am in the midst of putting in a new kitchen and considered all types listed. Tile was out ...»
    due to the hard surface and sore back when standing on it for a long time. First choice was cork... but it came in click and lock planks (two widths) or squares. Click and lock is not a good flooring in the kitchen with water... have that currently and dog water bowl has created the underneath to swell, ugh.... loved that floor for comfort but no more click and lock flooring in kitchen for me.... finally decided to go with a new Congoleum product with 'Air Step' that looks like tile but is as comfortable as cork flooring and great news is... it comes in sheets so no seams!
