Home Maintenance & Repairs: Hello Everyone,

I need to take out a soaking tub and replace it. I also want to take out my shower and do the same. The other side of the bathroom is done,i.e. granite, faucets, sinks ,lighting, mirrors ...»
ect. So I need to replace tub, shower and linoleium. How much should I pay? I am not redoing a whole bathroom and I do not want to over pay. I know it can varry size ,choices etc.but just a general idea? Thanks

Wow,I really apprecite it guys. I do want to do a drop in soaking tub,not jaccuzzi. With tile ...»
around the tub and maybe 2 pillars?? $ The shower tiled with two cut out nitches and corner seat. And floor in tiles,if not to expensive a heated floor ?? I have a new toiliet bowl already, cabnanets too. So it's one side of the bathroom. I will get several estimates. Do you think this could be done in stages, one at a time? Thanks:)

Painting: Any paint color suggestions for bathroom with dusty rose tiles?

The floor tiles are dusty rose. But the shower tiles are a "faded" dusty rose. About half the tile is colored and then it lightens to an off white. So the shower tile is lighter looking than the floor tiles.

Travertine Stone Bathrooms......Oh So Beautiful.

This is a job I did a few years ago. We installed SunTouch Heated wiring under the tile for this customers home sanctuary. That's what she describes it as. This project totaled materials ...»
and labor $17,000 and she loves it. Travertine can transform any bathroom or kitchen Backsplash into something amazing but with its neutral colors, there are dozens of color schemes you can pull off. Even dark colors like oil rubbed bronze fixtures with dark brown walls. Of course you would definitely need great lighting. By far Travertine is my favorite stone. The Tile Shop of Virginia Beach has a great selection of Stone and other tiles and through our network we can offer you extreme savings off your next purchase. Just let them know Majestic Tile sent you.

This was an extensive lower level finishing project that included installing 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, bedroom, rec room, and upper level screened porch. They designed the project, and oversaw everything. They kept us up to date on every step of the project. The project was ...»
completed on time, and on budget. I can't say enough great things about working with this company.

  • Despite being an entry under a porch, it is very bright, and provides great storage.
  • This picture doesn't do the kitchen justice. It is a beautiful addition to the space.
  • One of our favorite places to be year round.
  • The main room.
