These shelves were inspired by shelves seen on the IKEA blog. I used cheap crates from Michael's and painted the insides of them. They add some fun color to a boy's room!

I recently painted an old hand-made dresser a bright, fresh spring green and hand-painted a flower/bulb advertisement on the front to provide interest. The paint was then distressed and new hardware added for this dresser makeover!

Here's a simple way to clean a smooth stovetop using baking soda and a wet soapy towel. I've done this several times and it really does work!
