  • the most peaceful ceiling in my home...very relaxing! 1

My bedroom ceiling (photo as promised)

This did not photograph as well as I would have liked, but here it is. The details don't all show up but it is nice to lay and look at. This was painted in several sections and hot glued to my ceiling. The only supplies used were: styro-board, egg shell flat latex wall paint, black high gloss enamel paint, a roller, 1 sponge brush, and 2 precision brushes. Total time from start to glued up: 2hrs, 15 min., total size; 11x14, total cost; less than $50.... :)

  • My first attempt at faux marble on Styro-board!

They said I couldn't paint the walls in my rental???...well..okay------

This is my first attempt at faux marble on Styro-board.....I hate plain walls so when they said I couldn't paint my walls....I painted the Styro-board and the rest is history! What do y'all think?

  • This was the table originally. You cannot see it, but there was terrible damage on the top from the previous owner.
  • Second step..painted my original design on table top....
  • Added the "darken" varnish to antique the finish! Tah-Dah..done! 1

From old table to 1/2 done..to DONE!

This is my dining table that I took form old and damaged to painted and antiqued. I hand painted this design and added "darken" varnish to antique it once again. How do you think it turned out?

Paintings I have done on large Styrofoam sheets. They weigh less than 8 oz and cause no wall damage to hang them.

These are all 4' X 4'

My home before and after (but forever being redone)..I love changes.

When I first moved in I didn't have much of anything, so I worked with what I had to try to make it nice. I have put a lot of time and effort into it so far and am finally getting there...:)
