About Me:

I am a Real Estate "hobbyist" and full time RN/DON. Love everything about decorating, remodeling and gardening.

Favorite area of home improvement:

I have a 1940's kitchen with a large porcelain sink with two porcelain drainboards on each side. I would like to incorporate this sink in a new set of cabinets, but haven't a clue of how this is done. I have heard that this sink is worth a fortune and hate to get rid of it, but don't know what to do with it.

My new building and back yard.

We had this cellar and shed built into our hillside in the back yard. Big plans for shade garden on one side, and full sun on the other. What to plant? I'm overwhelmed.

This is lovely. I keep telling these people that come in with ridiculous estimates that I can ...»
do this for much less. Kitchen renno's have become overpriced and a total rip off. Some developers are getting rich on people wanting the "HGTV type kitchens" and all the kitchens that are in the magazines and even handyman men are ripping people off with these over the top estimates. I say, good for you!!!!!
