Garden Diva Chick

I've had this wire dress form for a long time and have been wanting to do something with it. Paid a visit to Wingard's Nursery because they had a potting area with very helpful staff. Had a good day being creative with her.

Garden Goodies

In two weeks, I've gotten some of my yard work accomplished. Someone was very generous with field rock so I took advantage to get a truck load to outline my garden beds. I started raking ...»
and mulching soon's I saw the first sign of spring coming. I'd like to share some of my garden goodies tucked away in the beds. By the time I finished these two beds the azaleas were in full bloom and the Iris are blooming. Visit my blog to see more pictures of my garden goodies.

Light Shade Planters

I bought these light shades but couldn't use them because they dimmed the room too much. But I loved the pattern and couldn't see taking them back. I remember seeing an article in Lowe's ...»
Creative Ideas magazine and decided to use them for that.

Duplicating a window

This window was broken during the renovation process of our family room. I searched for a window replacement and everywhere I went the price was near $300.00. The thrifty side of me was ...»
determined to find a more cheaper way to do it. Bought two picture windows and created the window pane effect for the window by using leftover 1/4 round molding that was used in the room. The final cost of the new window was $24.00. Talk about being thrilled!!! Visit my blog to see more on our Family Room update and thanks for stopping by.

Clutter closet turne Office

This was a project long overdue. I knew the closets would need re-doing when we bought the house, but over the years this one became a dumpster to put things in. Well I needed an office ...»
space so I figured why not give this space a "sense of purpose". I'm so embarassed of the before, but the after makes up for it. For more pictures visit my blog.

That piece looks great in your kitchen Jamala. ...»

My Mom collected tins. I'm not sure if I have some of hers in the basement storage area or not anymore. I know I gave some to my nieces when she passed. If I do still have some I'll have to remember your trick. Mom would have liked this too since she loved gardening too.
