I love things that have a story. I think that's why I love history, vintage items, and antiques. They are an extra special treasure when they are passed down from your own family.
Over the years we have worked on creating garden rooms and different vignettes throughout our yard and garden. I like to add things that have a special story or that end up being a little unexpected surprise tucked away here and there.
Hanging Tissue Balls are a fun and festive way to add a little pizzazz to baby showers, birthday parties or any event or celebration for that matter. Martha Stewart sells a Hanging Tissue
Pom Pom kit that includes everything you need to make your own Hanging Tissue Balls; however it comes with a price tag ranging from $13.00-$20.00 and you still have to make the Tissue Ball yourself, so I want to share a very quick and inexpensive way to make your own Hanging Tissue Balls for less than $3.00.
I bought this chandelier at a yard sale this summer. It was was way to brassy and dated. I spray painted it Valspars Tropical Oasis and I cleaned up the crystals. It took me two days to
put it back together because I asked my husband to take a before picture and he forgot. There were seven different sizes of crystals and it took forever to figure out. I planned on selling it but once it was completed I loved it. It is hanging in my kitchen now.
