Remodeling: I have an unfinished basement with framed walls.

I would like to open my space up and remove some of the framing. I was instructed by my builders rep that these wall were load bearing. How do I know which wall are load bearing? Next ...»
question, if I build a header and add support post, would this solve my issue?
