Christmas Front Porch

It's not snowing here...but I really want some...so, I just created some!

We had fun putting our Christmas porch together this year. Our porch is one of our ...»

favorite places to be.

My old Radio Flyer sled, vintage ice skates, snow shovel.....and a vintage olive bucket from Italy with a wee little Christmas tree. {I love olive buckets! I try to grab them any time I find them.}

Adding a fun message on the porch chalkboard is alway fun......

We made the faux snow balls last year....you can find our tutorial about it with the free printable sign here.

Our bucket of mistletoe for visitors to grab as they go....it started out overflowing, but is quickly dwindling down.....

Our front porch is one of our favorite places to change up for the seasons.....you can read more about it here:

My Peace On Earth Christmas Mantel

I created this years mantel with Angel Wings from Decor Steals that I embellished with lots of glitter. I wrote "Peace On Earth" with a glitter pen and a stencil. To see more details like how I extended my mantel depth view the blog post.

Cindy, I've been a reader of your blog for quite a while (lurker) and just tried to leave a ...»
comment on the English Toffee recipe you shared. For some reason, I can't get it to take my comment (signed in on my Blogger account). When I hit "publish" or "preview," my comment just disappears. ??? I was going to email you to let you know there might be a problem with your comments but I don't see that you have your contact email listed on your blog. Fortunately, I recalled seeing you over here at HomeTalk. If we could figure out why my comment won't go through and correct it, I would love to be able to leave a comment on that post letting your blog readers know I made your English Toffee recipe and how wonderful it was. P.S. Your mantel is beautiful! Merry Christmas!

Skull Vase Pottery Barn Knock Off

I used things I had laying around the house to make a similar item to some skull vases I saw in the Pottery Barn catalog. I had the vases (thrift store finds), some foam, and spray paint ...»
all at home. So for $0 I was able to mimic vases that Pottery Barn charges $109 EACH for! Grab your thrift store finds and get started on your own this Halloween season!

  • It's all in the details when decorating. In this Nautical Themed Nursery, a client chose my Compass Ceiling Medallion to complete the look. Shown in distressed navy.

Tiny Condo Kitchen Makeover

I finally finished my kitchen makeover that I've been working on for...well...at least three years. I did all of the work myself, with my own two hands, and on a bare bones budget, which ...»
is part of the reason it took so long for such a tiny kitchen.

Should I paint my front door white?

Seems like a simple question, but I have been struggling with this for a while. I paint everything else in my house, but for some reason I am afraid with this. These pictures should give ...»
you an idea of what the rest of the house looks like. I asked my followers in my latest post what they thought. Thanks for your opinion!
