  • This wreath is great for spring but could transition easily into summer.
  • The garden tools don't show up until you get right up on the porch. I love that! 1
  • A grains sack bow lightens it up and adds great texture.
  • I picked a garden theme and used small accessories to embellish the wreath.
  • A bird's nest with blue eggs ties all the blues together.

Spring Wreath Tutorial

Let me just say that I am THRILLED that spring is finally here! Normally, I don't mind the cold weather but for some reason this year I just couldn't handle it. I am so over of all the ...»
mud the dog (a 170lb Newfoundland) tracked in every time is snowed and frozen windshields.

Well, now that spring has sprung, I needed a new fresh wreath for my front door. I've been inspired by all the fabric wreaths I've seen, but I still love a good vine wreath. So, I took the inspiration and combined it with my two personal favorite things right now, pearls and fabric rosettes, to create my own. Check it out!

Spring is Busting Out All Over!

decorating outside. First, I tucked Tete a Tete Narcissus bulbs into the twig wreath on the back gate. Then, off to our 1916 potting sink to make an April display of rain boots and planting materials. Gloves and hanging planters from the dollar store added cheery yellow touches. A big pot of yellow tulips accented by curly willow and a container of purple pansies brought spring to our front porch. Time for a break, but there's still so much more to do!
