My name is Patricia Youngquist, aka The Last Leaf Gardener. I am a writer, urban gardener and visual artist living in New York City. I’ve combined my passions and expertise in writing, gardening, education, and art by creating engaging posts (which include interesting images) on Blogger as well as on tumblr.
I’ve also produced narrative short films that literally give voice to the garden, allowing the 80+ flora (herbs, salad greens, plants, shrubs, trees, flowers, ornamental grasses, succulents and vines) which I grow in my garden, to speak for themselves.
Moreover, I have dedicated a number of “segments” in all of the aforementioned venues, to the array of wild birds (types include an American kestrel, American robins, a Baltimore oriole, bluejays, cardinals, chickadees, common grackles, dark-eyed juncoes, downy woodpeckers, house finches, mourning doves, Northern mockingbirds, pigeons, a rose-breasted grosbeak, tufted titmouses, sparrows, and, white-breasted nuthatches) that visit my garden.
As for the "products" that are available for purchase, I have written a book, "Words In Our Beak Volume One." The story is told in the voice of Cam who visits my garden frequently.
The book is available in digital format (as an iBook via Apple and as an ePub Book via Kindle). The link with info is http://bit.ly/22V3uqt
It is also available in soft-cover format via MagCloud @ http://bit.ly/2nrBJDj
