thing to note is that in the design of the one that I posted, the tempered glass will get very hot so I would keep it out of reach from children. One re-fuel will have these guys burning for about 3 hours!

@Susan, lol I liked them on their FB page as well!

Diego does not get cold, but here's the problem with living in "sunny" San Diego. Many homes out here, including mine, are not built with a traditional fireplace. I want the feel of a real fireplace but without the hassles of cleaning, maintenance, expensive wood fuel (which is not eco-friendly), so I discovered electric fireplaces that can operate with or without heat. I can turn on the flames and enjoy the ambiance mid summer without heat! : )

@Dee, thank you for the feedback, and I will definitely post when it arrives to my home.

Electric Fireplace in my Bedroom

Looking for a cozy entertainment center fireplace for my bedroom and I stumbled upon this one listed at www.PortableFireplace.com, it looks really nice and contemporary. I like the fact that it has multiple shelves for the storage of my electrical components, what do you guys think? Just so everyone knows, my bedroom furniture theme is contemporary with dark wenge finish on all of the furniture, this unit is black so it will flow but it won't be an exact match. Thanks in advance!

I want to redesign my bathroom with a modern and contemporary theme.

I have visited a ton of local retail stores and found nothing to my liking, and with the few that I did like they were grossly overpriced. These guys seem to have fair prices, I'm looking for solid oak cabinetry and European soft glide drawers. I want it to be clean and simple, I'm going with a full on cabinet versus wall feature because I've heard it's easier to install... is this true?

Yay or nay?

So I have a large living room area, definitely want a fireplace but I don't want to deal with the cleaning and or

maintenance. I've heard about electric fireplaces and found a few nice ones on http://www.portablefireplace.com . Please let me know what you think of this one!
