  • Household vinegar will NOT kill weeds. Read how to REALLY kill weeds with vinegar.
  • You need at least a 10-20% vinegar plus horticultural orange oil (or other citrus oil)
  • You need to apply it with a spray bottle when the sun is bright, the ground is dry, and the temperature is above 70-degrees.

I used a gallon of generic white vinegar, some salt (didn't measure), a squirt of dish soap ...»
(not Dawn) and maybe half a gallon of water. I put it in my watering can and "watered" the weeds in the cracks of my driveway. Killed them and there is no sign of them coming back. That was at least 6 weeks ago. Spraying them didn't make sense to me since you need to kill weeds at the root. Since I had no other plants in danger, I WATERED them with the vinegar solution and it worked great!!

Pest Control: Mice in the House

First found mice droppings in the pantry, then under the sink. Now it seems they're everywhere. Landlord has put out mice bait under the house and mouse trap in the house but the mice are too smart for that. Now they're crawling on my kitchen counters, which are devoid of food except for the fruit/veggie bowl they got into last night. What to do?
