  • We polished this brand new garage floor. There were no stains or contaminants on the flooring.
  • It looks like marble...
  • As nice as it looks, I would not place any "leakers" on this floor as it may leave stains...

Can you polish a garage floor? Really?

Well, yes and no. It can be done. Yet not all garages are candidates for these solutions. Its best to start with a new., clean surface.

When you have this much bare concrete, can you imagine how much cleaner it will be with a beautiful epoxy finish?

I am building my first house and they poured my basement wrong. Any advise?

One of the walls was measured wrong and now they want to cut it out and re pour the wall. I am concerned about where the new walls meet the old. Can they leak? will it be as strog? Any advise will be really appreciated!!!

  • Dad's work bench includes a butcher block counter top and ample drawer storage.
  • Bikes are hung with slatwall bicycle hooks and storage containers rest on shelves high above.
  • An under-stairs nook provides great garden tool storage!
  • StoreWALL even works in this small space!
  • Cleaning supplies and kids toys are kept handy by the door.
  • Everything is off the floor so the cars can get in the garage!
  • Mom's work space uses cabinet storage and a StoreWALL back splash to keep things within reach.
  • This space is organized!
  • Even the space between the doors is pressed into service, giving the tiki torches a place to live.

Garage Organization for a Family of 10

Most families have lots of stuff packed into their garage - kids toys, bikes, sports equipment; dad's tools and mom's hobby supplies. Multiply that by 2 or 3 times and you calculate the ...»
amount of stuff this St Louis family needed to put away.

Fortunately they came to Garage Designs of St Louis for help.

We started by building in His and Hers work benches so mom and dad would have a dedicated work space for their projects. The remaining wall space in their 3-car garage was lined with StoreWALL - super versatile weather-proof bug-proof slatwall panels. The wall panels support a multitude of hooks, shelves and baskets that are designed to hold practically anything. Even a small nook under an interior stairwell was utilized. Every square inch of this garage now has a purpose.

Mission accomplished!

We finished our basement last winter, but with the cold weather settling in, we've been using it a lot more. I love it so much and never shared it much before since I was so new to blogging.
