  • Small bathroom in rental house that is dire need of something to tone down the pink and blue

Any Ideas What I Can Do With This Bathroom?

Rental house bath that has the old pink and blue tiles, blue sink, tub and stool (and wall heater). Currently has wall paper on the walls that I will remove and paint. The question is what color should I paint the walls that tone down the pink and blue? I'm not interested in painting the tiles. I am thinking of painting the woodwork (cabinets) also. Right now they're painted white. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

  • This little crate contraption stores 6 rolls, pyramid style. Not bad!
  • Simply screw the licence plate onto the crate, then screw it to the wall from the inside, and you're done! Instant funky little cabinet, junk style.
  • Sealing the license plate with a clear spray sealer would be a good idea. I simply chose to have the bottom row of rolls remain in their packages.

Hair color stain on bathroom sink

While coloring my hair I accidentally dripped a bunch of it on my bathroom sink and counter top and didn't find it until later. It is red, by the way. Is there any way to remove the stains at this point?

We left the pink, and painted the walls a crisp white. She also had brown tile going on in there. It looks cute and vintage. Hope that helps!

My Beach Themed Bathroom

I love the beach and decided to bring it into my bathroom. The little sign hanging from the shelf says "she sells sea shells down by the sea shore". Remember saying that as a kid?.

the quickest and most effective is muratic acid found in the swimming pool section or the masonary section of the hard ware store. mix 2 parts whater to 1 part acid in spray bottle and apply to stain let it bubble for 3 to 5 minutes and rince with water. Always use causion when working with acid as not to get it on your skin or in eyes. this is a last resort if the other 2 methods above dont give you the results you need regards

  • The framed art in gold was purchased as a clearance at Ross the other at Goodwill.
  • Bought the shower curtain for my daughter's initial on clearance at a BB&B. Even her Lotion bottle has her "A" initial.
  • Her room is a "Hello Yellow" so that is her added color. I hope one day to replace the old tiles the peeks out of the curtain to white subway tile all the way up to the ceiling. For now I added ole shower curtain cut into a valance.
