Painting: Color Suggestion

My bathroom tub, sink and counter top are a blue 'marble swirl' coloring. The walls are blue and the cabinets, door and molding are white. I would like to paint the walls a different color. Any suggestions?

I would love to cover the mirror tiles that are in my VERY SMALL bathroom.

I rent so don't really want to go to all the trouble of removing them but would love to cover them up. Should I paint? (If so, what kind of paint?) Paper? A friend suggested decoupage? What do you think?

Painting: My small master bath needs some help !

I live in a home from the 70's... I like it for the most part but I have been renovating and changing as I go... it still has good bones... I have a small master bathroom that has pale ...»
green tile on the lower walls and floor... which I like... There is a trim of tile around the top in a maroon glass color tile which I also like... and a trim tile that goes all the way around that is a smaller thin strip with some pink, maroon and green color... which I like... the problem is someone before me has papered the upper wall with a pink wallpaper which I guess they were trying to pickup the pink in the small trim tile... and I am not crazy about this... there is a shower stall that has the same tile on the walls and floor.... but the upper wall is painted white... don't like... I am thinking of painting over the wallpaper and painting the ceiling and upper wall in the shower all the same color... all the wood trim is white also which I don't care for including the vaniety... thought of painting the vaniety a dark wood color ... the countertop is a faux marble with shades of tan and brown... there is a build in linen closet that is white also... the master bedroom is kind of a sea green... with white triim and light brown doors... the floor is a hardwood floor painted a light brown close to the color of the light brown closet doors... any suggestions?

Bathroom: Getting a new sink for my bathroom. What is the best kind of material for a sink?

I just want something that holds up and doesn't rust. I am also getting a new vanity, so the sink will be over not under. Thanks.

fb that fresh lemon - cut in half and rub over the marks and it rinses away! Have never tried this but it may be worth a try. I find scrubbing bubbles foam works so well with such little effort, I haven't felt the need to try anything else. It lets me be lazy and put off the cleaning and still works LOL

    Hi Joyce, ...»

Great question. To answer with my opinion, I would say that it is worth the money to have it professionally done. Usually it's not expensive, and the pros will prep the surface thoroughly and spray the epoxy on for a more even finish. Anytime I have seen the DIY applications, it does not look to great.. usually showing a lot of brush strokes.

Bathroom: Advise about putting in a glassed, two sided master bath shower

My husband and I have gutted our master bathroom and we want to put in a glassed shower. We are looking at a quartz base and one glassed side will be the door with the other two sides tiled to the ceiling. Advise/cautions.

material and can be used instead of building a shower base. We have done that before and it was not fun, so we wanted to do a "ready made" base. We are tiling two walls because the shower sits in the corner and then have two walls of glass with one being a door or three sided with the door being centered across the "right" corner. We are trying to figure out which one gives us the most door clearance.

My friend, Michael, is knee-deep in the renovation of her bath. She's run into a few problems with paint color and decisions on whether she should paint the vanity or replace it. She would love to hear your suggestions and ideas.
