Bedroom Vignette: Great to Dress up the Dresser and Organize

Create a beautiful and classy space for otherwise random stuff by pulling it all together on a tray. Vignettes are a great way to bring a little bit of style and organization to any space ...»
while displaying meaningful pieces. I didn't buy anything but the tray and then filled it with meaningful items from around my bedroom and home to create my first vignette. It's a work in progress...as I plan to a changeable bottom to the tray.

Don't Let the Door Hit You in the Head!

I know.... Turning an old door into a headboard is not exactly new but I found a door at our Habitat ReStore for $50 that worked perfectly as a king size headboard and couldn't resist! ...»
Attaching it was a breeze and I love the fact that it saved me money, saved the door from a landfill, and didn't need much of anything done to it.

  • Such a sweetness "old" things can bring, such as using this old wooden ladder as a "canopy" over your bed!
Adorn it with cheesecloth material, burlap, or lace "curtians from the steps of the laddder to give warmth and softness.

"Jacobs Ladder of dreams"....

This was too cute to not share ! We know that "old" things are very much in style today. Using old wooden ladders, burlap and lace...which burlap is the "in" fabric this season! Being from the south , brought up from the country living...who would have thought this would be actually decor , other than ...work pieces! We could have cared less about those things back then! But today, these pieces make such awesome treasures to admire in your home or space. Use an old wooden ladder as a "canopy" over your bed!

I'm constantly trying to figure out how to transform them. This is certainly thinking outside the box. This would be a great way to use all of those leftover stickers which means that there will be lots of different fonts and textures. Thanks for sharing.
