I bet you can get this type of glue in either size Kevin. ...»
I know you could get all types in either size when I last used my glue gun. I have some of both sizes. My first glue gun was a Craftsman before they were popular in the craft stores. I did see that you can now get wood glue in sticks again. That's one of the things I used my first glue gun for.

I hope Jimhas seen this and been able to glue his Lazy Susan back together.

Cleaning & Organization: Mopping a slate floor

What is the best way to mop a slate floor? What cleaning solution should we use? We have slate tiles in the kitchen with concrete mortar. You can see from the pictures that the surfaces ...»
of the slate tiles are uneven. They are also porous (water dripped on them is absorbed). I sweep regularly, which isn't easy because of the uneven surfaces. I have mopped once with a Swiffer Wet Jet but I'm not sure whether that's OK to use repeatedly.

worked great (excellent suction) I purchased the Oxi Clean mentioned by Luci H. above. Thanks Luci. I can't believe how great my carpets look. Oxi even brightened my carpet. The urine smell was noticable when wet but we pre-scrubbed the stained areas with Oxi and also added Oxi to warm water and added in the tank.

Oxi has a very nice smell. Cleaned Saturday and the house is dry now. So glad it's done and cost $32.00 plus $8.00 for (2) Oxi clean containers. Did my whole house for $40.00 Wow !! That's what I call DIY'er Thanks for all the suggestions-some really great ideas.
