Monogrammed Concrete Planter

We attempted a somewhat ambitious weekend project by making a black, monogrammed concrete planter. How did it come out? Good and bad. We'll definitely be trying this one again soon.

flagstone sitting area

This is a landing, sitting area and path that leads to the pool deck. We constructed it with western Md. flagstone and Pa. fieldstone for the wall. The landing is on concrete and the rest is dry laid in paver base.

Painting: Removing wallpaper from concrete?

I would like to remove the current wallpaper from our hallway and paint it. I've ripped a few pieces off, and underneath is just concrete. ...»

So what would be the steps here? Rip off wallpaper, scrub or sand off remaining gluey bits, some sort of primer or I don't know what, then paint? Am I missing something, or have I got it all wrong? Or does anyone have any tips in general?

Thanks in advance!

Stenciled Stone Porch

I love the look of flagstone walkways but it wasn't in my budget to rip out the existing concrete and redo the porch. For less than $100 I was able to transform our existing concrete slab into something completely fab! #porchpride
