Looking for Stainless Steel Countertops

We have a small kitchen and would love the look of stainless steel countertops in our home. We have shopped around for granite but everyone has the same type. Any suggestions?

Without knowing what you mean by grainy I would think your meaning it is rough. You will need ...»
to sand the finish down again and re-apply a new coating again. There is nothing you can do to make the finish look good without re-prepping the surface again and start from scratch. If the finish is uneven, color blend etc, same method of repair still stands. However here is no magic cure or fix for this. Sorry to say. :(

Painting laminate countertop

I want to paint my countertops red but don't want a lot of steps. Can I just use paint without priming or sanding etc?

I finished painting my kitchen countertops this weekend.

Total project was about $60.00. ($17.00 for the Primer, $20.00 for the Countertop Coating and $20.00 for the Polycrylic). I already owned the paint, but that was about $15.00 worth. I know they sell kits for this kindof thing (made by Gianni or Rustoleum), but I wanted to go with a different paint scheme. I got the original idea from a blog (creative Kristi's) Total process took about 3 days

  • When we took the bookshelves out we needed to support the counter top so we placed a piece of wood underneath throughout the whole process.

you are going to put in it!

Older Corian sinks used to have to have hot water run through them to acclimate them from the thermal shock of boiling water poured into a cold sink, I would bet now this wouldn't be an issue but Karran sinks carry a 50 yr warranty.

I've installed dozens over the years, I've seen guys standing in them after they are installed. Scratches can easily be buffed out, even deep gouges can be polished out.
