We get a lot of calls on which wood species would fit their design scheme. We set up a page on our website that showcases all the species we work with and the projects we've done. Check it out: http://www.brookscustom.com/wood-species.php...
Was out for hand surgery and made a cup of tea. Tea pot was just to heavy and I dropped it onto the counter. Once I was better and could use both hands and a brain - I put tiles onto the counter - Now I have instant hot plates.
We are running into all kinds of problems with finding a counter top for our breakfast bar. We had a quartz picked out...they don't make it anymore. We picked out a granite that was
definitely a second choice and they had to move the wall to make it fit without a seam. Now they are saying they don't have a big enough piece to fit it without a seam. Can anyone tell me if having a seam in a granite counter top is a problem and why. We are a bit frustrated about having to keep settling and want to make sure we don't do something we will regret. Thanks in advance!
It's finally all coming together! I fell in love with Sherwin williams Urbane bronze 4+ years ago when we lived in our second house and I just haven't gotten over my crush yet. We painted
the island this color in the last house but I was afraid to go for it on all the lower cabinets because we knew we were selling soon and I thought it would turn potential buyers off. Who knew it be the hot color for the last couple of years now?! Anyway, since we are building a custom home that we have no intention of selling we decided to bite the bullet and go with the white and gray look that I love. Throw on some Silestone lagoon countertops and I get all giddy about the space that we get to cook in soon!!!
