Design & Décor: Can anyone point me to a tutorial showing how to install wallpaper on inner and outer corners?

I plan to install bead board wallpaper but the one thing holding me back from this DIY is figuring out how to address the corners ... both the inside and outside corners. I know I'm ...»
supposed to wrap it around, right? But then do I trim it into the corner? And what about the outside edges?

Design & Décor: I bought the Valdosta Jacobean Comforter Bedding by J Queen New York. I do not like the black drapes that go with it.

Any suggestions about what type window treatments to put up? A review said she used white lace panels, but I just can't see them working. I am working on a budget, too.

Design & Décor: What furniture layout do you recommend for my screened-in porch?

We have a nice-sized screened-in porch, but I feel like the current furniture layout is not optimal. The challenge: there's an existing light fixture which we don't want to move, and it ...»
seems to make the most sense to have it hanging over the table. We have too many chairs, which I'd like to Craigslist and then purchase a loveseat {?} to place against the windows. I need more practical seating, because the chaise is awesome but not exactly conducive to conversation. The black console table is currently used as a bar/drink station when we entertain, so I'd like to keep that.

Any recommendations for me? Thank you so much!

Lucky you with such a great porch! An idea I saw in a magazine that I loved: They hung 2 ...»
wooden doors vertically using chains attached to the 4 corners to hang it from the ceiling bed-heigth. Mattresses were put on top with lots of toss pillows and the hanging bed were made up wiith linens and quilts. Day beds to lounge in or read on a lazy summer afternoon or extra space for guests or grandkids.

Design & Décor: Furniture ideas for 60 inch tv

Any ideas on what to do with this wall to house a 60 inch tv (my husband insists on). This one on the stand is going away and we'll be buying a new one. It's a new house and the plan is to buy a console or wall unit, then rug (that one is ugly) then tall panel drapes I feel like since the room is so light a wall unit could seem to heavy. But a console might leave so much open space above the tv. Any ideas on what would look best? I do not have an eye for decorating and am at a ...»
lost. Behind the tv is a kitchen with cream cabinets and a cherry island. Thanks for your help.

Design & Décor: What color backsplash shoud I go with?

We have cherry cabinets and dark countertops, what color would look best for the backsplash? We will be using tile of some sort, but after going this far with this kitchen redo, I don't want ordinary tile.

Design & Décor: Small bar/countertop area - I hate it and want to lower, what do you think?

This bar area is pretty much useless and my kitchen is small and I feel like it "cuts off" the kitchen visually and doesn't make it appear open at all. Its usually not this big of a mess, I'm painting on the other counter so everything is schlopped to this counter. So, I want to cut it off and lower it like most kitchens are these days which give a more open feel. I was just going to use the bar top to "fill - in" that area to extend it like regular top, but it extends on the side ...»
facing the camera and the back of the lower countertop comes up, I guess I could cut it, but my hubby is not on board with this whole idea at all, so I need it to be something I can do relatively easy. Any easy ideas??? I was going to paint my countertop anyways, so I just need a way to make it all match so that when I paint it will all come together. I guess I could go to Habitat and watch for a piece that might match up sizewise for that entire countertop area, but I doubt that will happen soon. It has a diagonal seam where it joins the other piece on the wall side. Thanks for your help!
