    birds. She put in smaller tree limbs, air, ferns, and other fauna and created a more natural setting and, put it on a nice looking wooden bottom. It's the neatest bird house I've ever seen as well Diane Sterling. Sounds like we have very creative friends. I love the chicken wire idea for one as well.

  • The finished bookcase media wall.  I left the middle section open for a large flat screen t.v.  There's a hole in the countertop towards the wall for cords, and an electrical outlet accessible in the middle cabinet.
  • All trimmed, painted, and lights installed.
  • I used stock wall cabinets (12" deep) from Home Depot as lower cabinets, so I had to build a base for them.  I was reusing some cabinets from a previous media wall attempt that didn't turn out so great, which is why they're painted.
