I'm Feeling Aqua Blue

lots of small things like frames and I plan to paint them all the same color. So I just have a fun few hours and paint all of them at once!! It's a real time saver to do it that way. I painted all these pieces in just a few hours in my carport.

Handmade 'Rustic/Primitive' Pine Cabinet Turned 'Beach Cottage Chic'..

We found this little pine handmade cabinet with 2 full shelves. They made the top of the cabinet with sides, I guess to prevent things from rolling off. The young couple we got it ...»
from, used it for a changing table for their baby because the baby wouldn't roll off. There's another 1/2 shelf over the top that comes off of the backside... Pics will make sense of that. Hand painted with chalk p...ainted, weathered & distressed in sea/beach colors in 3 layers of paints of Cottage White, Custom light blue and a custom lavender/grey. The top/outside shelf and the doors are lavender over Cottage White. The inside is painted in cottage white and has been distressed a little bit. I then decoupaged 4 seascape/nautical scenes on the outside (front, top and both sides). This lil' rustic made cabinet can be your's for only $75.00 Contact us: http://www.facebook.com/thechippychick813 Local pick up only...

Furniture: Drawer Pulls- 2.5"?? An endangered species..

Is it just me or are 2.5" pulls impossible to find? I've been to all my local hardware stores (Lowes/Home Depot included) and the only option they had in 2.5" were the 'cup' pulls. I want something really unique for a piece I'm working on and need to replace the hardware. I really don't want to putty in the existing holes and drill new ones! HELP! Anyone found some neat ones?! Where?!

First Attempt

I have been making pallet planters and decided to attempt a table for my patio. Haven't stained it yet, but so far I am happy. Not perfect but it's mine and all it cost was a few screws :)

A Major Headboard Improvement

I never liked the wicker headboard now in my guest room. I discovered that it was just attached with plywood and screws, so I removed it and replaced it with upholstered plywood. I used ...»
quarter-inch plywood, foam, batting, and a staple gun to upholster it. I also spray painted the frame a satin black finish. I love it now.

Made the burlap table runner too.

Furniture: Old school desks

Ive got these two old school desks picked them up super super cheap at a yard sale. They are in perfect shape, the seats fold up nicely. Ive dated them to around 1890.I had them for sale on Craigslist, but the only hits I received were from a couple of "clowns" who wanted to send me a "cheque" and have cousin Vinny swing on by and pick them up. Anyway, Im not sure what to do with them. I do not want to paint them. Any ideas would be wonderful!

This is Hannah, she is covered in antique quilts purchased in an estate sale and the quilts were very worn in some spots but in good shape in others. The best of the quilts were utilized to upholstered this lovely chair.

Give New Life to Worn Out Side Tables or Night Stands

I've always loved the three tiers on these tables from IKEA, but the stain was not my favorite. With a little sanding, new stain, and paint it was easy to create up to date tables that ...»
