  • The finished bookcase media wall. I left the middle section open for a large flat screen t.v. There's a hole in the countertop towards the wall for cords, and an electrical outlet accessible in the middle cabinet.
  • All trimmed, painted, and lights installed.
  • I used stock wall cabinets (12" deep) from Home Depot as lower cabinets, so I had to build a base for them. I was reusing some cabinets from a previous media wall attempt that didn't turn out so great, which is why they're painted.

more of a flat headboard idea. Love! the greenhouse idea I've been wanting one for years, but I have a problem with putting this beautiful piece outside in the weather. I don't think it would last but a years. I know It's really a free item because I got my TV stand I wanted, but I hate to destroy it. I really wish I had a solid covered porch area or longer eve's because this is right up my alley. Wonderful ideas so far. Thank you.

Farmhouse Buffet

This took me two days, but only because I use my dad's garage so I am not there all day to work on things when I want or need to. Used Miss Mustard Seed's Luckett's Green, and a touch of her Antiquing Wax. Topped it off with clear wax, buffed to shine, and added new hardware. With one drawer missing, I cleaned out the cubby, changed the board in it to something cleaner and added a basket. The cover over the drawer hole is a material dad had on hand, & even he doesn't know what it is! ...»
