  • Easily age your terra cotta pots resulting in a beautiful aged patina.
  • Grab whatever paint you have on hand, think creamy antique colors, a sponge and wax. The wax will protect it from moisture and make the pots more durable.
  • Mix the paint with a good amount of wax till smooth.
  • Take a sponge and apply the paint mixture onto the terra-cotta pot leaving certain areas of the pot lightly exposed.
  • That's it, I swear, took about 2 minutes per pot.

You can always seal the inside of the pots or use the wax inside as well :)

Cute Ideas

I found this old hanging box and painted it with funky colors. The water hose hanger was not sturdy enough to hold my hose, so I put a yard sale find with flowers in it. My favorite Penny's!

Food grade DE is the best and you can use it in and out of the house. You can also take it ...»
yourself. Also peppermint essential oil is good. Mix with water in a spray bottle and mist your plants. I spray my plants, walls, doors outside to keep bugs and frogs and lizards away because i don't want them falling on me or getting inside house.
