I have gotten into these beauties. I have always shied away from them because we face due ...»
west. But now I plant them near the water supply so we can keep them watered. I laid limbs down on the ground and put a shovel of dirt on it between the base and end of limb after it quit blooming. They all rooted and I have 4 new baby ones now. I have a new variagated on called "lace cap" that I am going to try and root this year after it blooms. Will keep you posted on this.

Gardening: Garden Box

I have a large garden box to fill with good soil. What would be an inexpensive filler to put down first and then add soil. Would clean coastal hay be a good idea?

Gardening: Need to get rid of this!

So, I've been trying to give the house some curb appeal but this hideous plant has invaded most of the small front yard and some of the parking lot. I know it comes from whatever my neighbor is growing but I don't want it! Can anyone tell me what it is and how to get rid of it?
