Gardening: Weed?

I have this coming up all through my flowerbed. Can anyone tell me what it is? I can't find anything online that even looks remotely close. I live in the West Central part of Oklahoma if that means anything...

Paint the weed with vinegar. (Take a tiny paint brush and dip it in a bowl of vinegar & ...»
paint) I sometimes mix some salt and dish soap to help it stay on. The vinegar will kill the weed - be careful though, as vinegar will also kill your plants!

Beginning to Look Like Spring...

It sure feels like my garden is off to a very slow start. What a Schizophrenic start we have had to the growing season. In just a few short weeks we have had snow, 100 degree temperatures, and a bit of a cold snap.

Gardening: Is This a Daylily or Something Else?

Hi, this is a (bulb) flower that grows out back. The stalks are very tall (3-4 feet?) and the blooms are about 5-6 inches across. They're beautiful! Please help me identify them. Thank you!

  • There's only one flower spike in about five iris plants in my garden.
  • It's gorgeous, but lonely
  • Love the colour variations between the upper and lower petals. Plus the nectar stripes are so pretty.

Gardening: One Lonely Iris

Last year, I planted a number of iris cuttings from a friend. The only one to bloom has just opened. They are in full sun and I planted them shallow as I've done before successfully. What could be wrong?

I have a collection of Iris's , they are great in boarders or areas of half sun / half shade. ...»
They do love water rather it be first thing in the morning or evening. Before long you will have a infection of Iris where you will have to find some one to give them to.

Gardening: What is this??

It is growing beside the road, at my neighbors house. It is growing up into a tree. I think its kind of pretty .. but would like to know what it is first, before I go poking around in it.

Gardening: I have a plant that has pink in the middle and yellow around sides.

These plants get a flower first then a large leaved tall plant, beautiful red colors running thru the middle if the green leaf. I starts out with a pink flower and yellow flowers around the sides then next to it it shuts up these tall leaves.

Gardening: What is this? Is it a weed or a type of spinach

I found this growing in my carrot bed this spring, I let it grow but I still haven't figured out what it is. I shared my vegetable garden with my neighbor last season and I know he planted something late last summer. The simple resolution would be to ask him but he moved. Anyone with suggestions would be much appreciated,
