We re,moved most of what was left of our Asian Jasmine after our drought had destroyed most of it. We then cleared and leveled and brought in river rock.

I want to overseed a dying lawn
The front lawn I had enough $$ to lay good local new sod. I don't have the money to do the back...besides the front has inground sprinklers not so much the back.

What can I do to improve my soil. It is mostly clay.
I am trying to start all over with my flower bed that is up against the back of my house but the clay soil is horrible for growing anything. Any ideas on improving the soil or what to grow?
