Transplanted Perennials From Old Home to New Yard - Weed Control

In November of 2012 I planted bulbs to start - sorry no pics from the results. Actually move in started gardens at the base of front trees, the side of the garage and driveway. I love ...»
perrenials because; they spread, propogate themselves, eventually growd out weeds, (at least til the fall), add color, texture, interest to our otherwise flat nad boring landscape. Already, neighbors stop to chat and make comments on how nice things look. I just smale and say - wait 'til next year.

  • I purchased the vinyl tablecloth at Walmart. I thought the checks with the inset stars was perfect for the holiday.
  • I decided to keep the place settings simple.
A woven charger from Goodwill, plain white dinner plates from Ikea, flatware from Family Dollar and napkins from Walmart.
  • For the centerpiece I placed white petunias into a planter from Ikea.
  • A wonderful way to start summer!
Outside enjoying the sunshine and good food!
