Pest Control: I have a friend in Atlanta who is seeking out environmentally friendly pest control for roaches.

Not sure if it exists but she wants a company that will tell her what they use (beyond saying it won't harm the environment) for control. Suggestions welcome. I use the shoe method. ...»

If I see one (fortunately we don't seem to have a problem) I use the shoe to get rid of them.

Pest Control: Fleas!

Last year we were infested with fleas and I spent an insane amount of money trying to get rid of them. All of my animals are "house" animals, but the dog goes out to potty. I am using K9 Advantix but I need something more. Any suggestions?

Mosquitoes are the peskiest flying insect of them all.

Summer sure does bring plenty and every year there are more moving in on our territory. THere is nothing worse than being outside working in the yard in the heat and mosquitoes are ...»
dropping by. A mosquito bite on a sweaty hot day just makes me want to scream. Some people dream of the summer air while they chose to be stuck indoors to avoid the mosquitoes. I want to get you outside more to enjoy your neighbors and your yards, great communities lead to long lives.

Mosquitoes stay within a one mile radius of their breeding site. If your yard has been taken over by mosquitoes and you know where there is standing water around your house and yard, you're in for a trick or treat if you don't put a stop to the development of families of mosquitoes right away. Mosquitoes lay eggs in water, so a few drops of baby oil will spread and smother the eggs and larvae, hence killing them before they spread a disease to you.

    • Monthly spray service get where the bugs are hiding and breaks up the breading cycle.
    • Example of the light mist produced by misting system. They only spray for about 35 seconds a day
    • Small misting heads placed around to area you need protected that spray automatically two or three times a day

I have a problem each year with some sort of animal, usually a rodent, taking up residence in my attic.

When it's a squirrel or bird, it's okay because they do not destroy anything, but the mice like to chew on things and leave droppings everywhere. I get rid of them humanely but how can I prevent from hosting anymor critters?
