To Preen or Not to Preen-Is there a question?

Now that it's officially spring here in the Northeast we're getting tons of weeds. But I've been using Preen successfully for years. It's not meant to kill weeds but prevent them. I use it sparingly after the first use of the year. Does anyone have a successful schedule of using it apart from the directions on the container. Thanks everyone. www.homerepairtutor.com

I was told not to apply Preen to grass that just beginning to spring up. Is this true? If ...»
so, when should I apply Preen to kill the weeds? What should I do in the meantime to control the weeds?
