About Me:

Hi all, Retired about 10 years ago. Worked the last 5 years overseas with GTE, which became Verizon later!!! My last assignment before retiring was a Manager in a local Mexican Cellphone Comapany. After retiring, I decided to turn my automotive hobby shop into a master bedroom. (I had a very sucessful part-time auto repair business before i went overseas) I have never been in the construction business so my cousin planned and did most of the work. I learned and observed the building techniques and use of the equipments. Since then I started creating and constructing one of a kind projects and got into Fiber Optic Lighting. My home was featured in HGTV in 2007. I work on these projects during the day...but at night I turn into a "Party Animal!!!" We sing Karaoke 2 to 3 a week and go dancing and partying every week-end!!! I travel to Vegas, Philippines, go on cruises 3 to 4 times a year. Life is a "Blast!!!" Clarence "Tulips" How I got this nickname "Tulips" is another hilarious story!!!

Favorite area of home improvement:

I just love to create unique projects. When watching HGTV, DIY or any home improvement or arts and craft program I sometimes visualize enhancing the project and build from the basic structure to create a more unique project. Here is web-site featuring some of the projects: http://www.photodex.com/share/cnishimoto/k4c29mg4 ENJOY Clarence "Tulips"

I started by accident just cutting scraps of wood into different shape and sizes. When I noticed the bare wall above my bed, I decided to create a head board with the scraps of wood and this is was the results!!! Clarence "Tulips"

H i Roxann, I just seen this message when I was posting a new photo of the projects. I did ...»
this particular headboard by accident. I had all this left over pieces of wood from previous projects and was just started cutting different patterns not knowing what to do with them. The bedroom wall looked bare so that's when I decided to piece together this headboard. Practically all the murals I have designed and created are 3D so I created this in 3D!!! I had this vision in my mind and just made it a reality!!! Clarence "Tulips"
