One Yard Decor - Fabric Covered Boxes

I had lots of small pieces of fabric leftover from many projects that were one yard or less. I also had lots of boxes and shoeboxes. I made the boxes into pretty and stackable storage by covering them with the fabric leftovers.

    leaving soon. The other day she was in my studioffice and asked if I could make her some boxes like them to take with her for storage. I told her she could have mine. I had to do a little reshuffling of the contents, but she is thrilled. :)

  • Make a paper mache confetti bowl with small scraps of paper.
  • Use a bowl or other object as the form. Cover it with plastic wrap so you can remove your paper mache bowl.
  • Use a one inch circle punch to create the confetti
  • Remove the bowl and let dry. Seal with two coats of Mod Podge Gloss or similar product.
  • Use your bowl as a seasonal decor piece.
  • Make smaller confetti cups to hold treats or cupcakes.

Paper Scraps- 1 inch circle punch- Paper Mache Paste - Mod Podge Gloss

Punch out several circles from your paper scraps. Make or purchase paper mache paste and create your bowl using a glass bowl or vase as a form. Once completely dry, remove from glass form and seal with a gloss finish. #SpringDecor

  • Added Pickwick pattern boards to the island and bead board to the sides of the cabinets.
  • Found the perfect baskets at TJ Maxx to fit the shelves. 1
  • Built-in banquette surrounds this table on 2 sides.
  • DIY Enamel tags made the baskets come to life.
