OMG!! Thanks HUD for nothing!! Call the volunteers at Habitat Volunteers!
WHAT??!! According to my favorite Son-in-Law--thats THE Grass to Have!! Didn't you know the
grass in Heaven is Bermuda Grass?? LOL!! Every ones taste is different! If I was your Neighbor --I'd come & dig it up & plant it on my weeds & moss!! In fact -- put a neighborhood bullentin up some where your NEighbors are SURE to see IT & tell everyone its FREE!-- They just have to DIG it up THEMSELVES! Let me Know if you get any takers OK?? Good Luck!!
Those of us who live where the soil is mostly clay know to add 2 inches of soil conditioner to any bed we're planning on planting. Soil conditioner acts like a sponge, holding water for dry times. Composted manure, composted wood fiber, pine bark fines and mushroom compost are all excellent additions to a bed - just make sure to use enough.
