Design & Décor: I'm dying to find out the name of a type of wood reminiscent of driftwood and/or petrified wood.

It is sometimes used in huge slabs as a dining or console table. Usually has dips, gaps, and an uneven edge. Can anyone help?

I guess what I was looking for was Mango or Acacia wood slab tables! You are right, many ...»
different types of wood can be cut to look similar to what I was looking for--I guess that's why it was so hard to narrow it down!

Gardening: My backyard has no grass just some weeds and red Georgia clay. Does Tall Fescue grow well in the red clay?

Hello! I stay in Historic College Park and a few of my neighbors have installed tall fescue ...»
and it's gorgeous! I think that will be my choice as well because I have absolutely no grass in my front yard and two large trees that give lots of shade. It's high maintenance in the summer (it's a cool weather grass) and does better in part shade. If your yard is kinda shady it could do well. Google SuperSod at the Forest Park Farmer's Market. Hope this helps!

Outdoor Living: I'd like to create an Asian inspired landscape in the front yard.

Any suggestions to find really cool plants to fill that area?

language with the weeping cherry--I've had my eye on it for a while. I'd really like a dwarf version of it though. Thanks again
