  • We sanded and painted the existing cabinets, I love how fresh and bright they are now. The light reflecting backsplash tile adds sparkle and glam!
  • This beautiful Kohler sink is much more functional than what they had. The taps were repurposed from the old kitchen as they were in great shape. Counters were done with 12x24 floor tiles... a great option that is very cost effective.
  • The appliance garage door looked dated so we removed it and painted everything out... so much better!
  • The kitchen before, dark and not enough contrast with the wood floors. The laminate counters were also dark and dreary...
  • Although the cabinets were good quality, they had pitting that my parents didn't like. We planed them down for a fresh clean starting point.
  • I think they like it!

There is nothing better than that!

Come see how we transformed their dark and dated kitchen into a light and bright transitional space.

Lots of funny antics and more before, during and after pics are on the post.

Pam, the backsplash is the same tile we used for the floor except in a subway shape. We also ...»
used some glass tile -- it's the lighter layer in the middle of the backsplash. The floor and backsplash are so easy to maintain.

Thank you everyone for all the great feedback. I was so thrilled to be able to renovate our ...»
kitchen and am very happy with the way it turned out. Kyle, the floor is ceramic tile, it is so easy to maintain and does not highlight shed hair from our pug!
