A coffee table made for our son, from left over tiles. He also made a few end tables as well

He used 3 quarter plywood. Glue the tile to the wood in whatever design u like, just like u were doing a tile job but smaller. Then frame It and paint it.

    Debi M. you could use concrete backer board Durock or Hardibacker available at home imp. ...»
    stores outside it would be better to use those because it will withstand loads of water and last long
