Painted Kitchen Cabinets & Countertops

Yup, cabinets AND counters! The original cabinetry was in perfect shape (only a few years old) but was horribly ill-planned when I picked the colors while building the house. Our kitchen ...»
has no direct sunlight or natural light sources and tended to be VERY dark 90% of the day. We decided to add some undermount lighting to see if that would brighten the space but only made the rest of the room feel even darker. I stumbled upon the Rustoleum Cabinet and Countertops Transformation kits and thought "It can't be that bad.". Let me tell you painting a kitchen this large by yourself (hubs doesn't paint) is not fun. The countertops are really easy to do and only take 2 days + dry time to finish. The cabinets took me a solid week of sun up to sun down but I think all in all the final product is amazing. It's been a while now and they are still in perfect condition like the day I finished. I highly recommend these products!
