More Bluebonnets. A LOT more.

This pictures was sent to me by Bernice (for some reason it wasn't uploading on her computer.) It is the most wondrous sight I have ever seen. Many thanks to Bernice's friend Tamara in TX for sharing this picture!

Gardening: Tips on transplanting tulips and daffodils?

I know I to leave the leaves until they die down. Now that I have a better idea of all the plants in our yard, where/what they are, when they bloom, etc. I would like to do some rearranging so I don't have plants coming up on top of each other while empty spots sit nearby. Thanks!

Just started blooming in my garden, a great native iris, Iris cristata. Perfect for the woodland garden, perennial.

Gardening: I have this thing growing up through an azelia. I know it has to go, but (esp. @Walter Reeves) what IS it? Anybody?

It looks kind of like a holly of some sort, but the leaves are more broad than any holly I've seen! Also, if you know what it is, just what are those berries going to do? Flower? Change color? Stain my clothes?
