Cleaning & Organization: Dining room table

My son used our dining room table to iron his pants. The stain has worsened over the years.

To remedy this I used Danish Oil, as suggested by the big box people. The results were ...»

  • Enjoy this interesting Canoe Pond. Oxymoron? 15
  • Here is another angle! I love the change from the lower level of grade to the top of the deck. Note how the bottom of the canoe is buried slightly into the landscape as if it was water. Enjoy 5

  • Wire trellis headboard. 7

Easy diy headboard using garden trellises.

I bought 3 trellises to fit the width of my bed and simply wired them together using picture hanger wire. I covered the wire with clear tape to protect the walls from scratches. It is currently just propped up behind the bed, but I may hang it on the wall at some point. #2012

Gardening: Does anyone know what this is

Ordered this "cherry hedge" from an online source. This arrived today. Looks nothing like the picture on their website. Truly disappointed!

Painting: I have a wooden front door without any overhang or gutter. I've replaced the door twice as it rots and splits.

Would coating the newly painted door with some kind of special finish help?

Any suggestions welcome.
