I just had to share this pretty combination from our curb strip this weekend!
The spring woodland windflower, Anemone blanda 'White Splendour', is a beautiful flower to
plant to add with daffodils or under tulips for your spring displays. Or it really draws out the white tips in the grape hyacinth, Muscari aucheri 'Ocean Magic'. Add a covering of Sedum 'Acre' underneath these tiny beauties for best effect!
I got this banged up little table at a yard sale for $5. I painted the bottom with aqua DIY chalkpaint, glazed it and coated it with clear wax. The top I painted aqua also and then taped off stripes and then went over it with black paint.
I created some last minute Easter decor using left over sheet moss and a thrift store frame. I knew I wanted to do a French bunny print but I wanted a natural look to my tablescape so I
had to come up with something besides regular white paper for the bunny print. That's when I got resourceful and pulled out some birch bark wrapping paper I got on clearance after Christmas. You see more pics of the frame and my Easter vignette, along with the complete tutorial on how I made the frame and print here: http://decoratedchaos.blogspot.com/2013/03/b...
I started may 28th planting 4 tomatoes around a garbage can with holes drilled in the bottom rim and a second row up about 10 inches... buried the can to where the top holes just barely
were above the ground... put in two shovels full of compost... then I fill the can up with water ever 2 days and try not to water the leaves... these four plants are now 5 ft 4 inches in less that a month and a half and loaded with green tomatoes and about a hundred sets of tomato blossoms...
