Outdoor Living: I have a 40 ft row of mature azaleas under oak trees.

fungus or rot. I fixed the sprinkler. Now other plants 10 to 15 feet from that one look wilted. Could this fungus or root rot have spread?

    common in our sandy soils as it is in heavier soils. Wilting leaves that resemble drought stress is definitely an indicator. It is difficult to control and you may have to use a fungicide. To confirm, I would try to take a leaf and soil sample (from around the roots of an infected plant) to your local cooperative extension office. There is one on South Conway. Good luck!

When flushing my toilet I have to hold the handle down until the flush is finished.

I tried shortening the chain but the the flapper never seals. How can I fix?

    When I flush, the water in the bowl spins slowly and exits with little force. What creates the force of the flush in the toilet? Maybe I need a new toilet (mine is old...1980 or before). All plumbing pipes were replaced in the house 2 years ago.

and the spots won't come off. I'm afraid after time the bottom third of my windows are going to be opaque. Any suggestions?

Outdoor Living: Bahiagrass invaded my back yard b/c it was dry and stressed from previous chinch bug activity.

My front lawn is healthy saint augustine gras. Am I in danger of the bahia invading the healthy saint augustine? I don't want to resod unless I am in danger of loosing the front yard too.
