Gardening: Does anyone know what these huge plants are? I hope I haven't been saving weeds. They are 4 feet tall.

Painting: Every Monday morning starts with a trip to my favorite thrift store -

Yesterday I scored a very nice French Provincial style desk. I stripped the top in prep for Dark Walnut (my fav) stain. What color should I try on the body and drawers? Any suggestions? Here's the color chart. http://cececaldwells.com/paint-color-chart/

Anyone know the name of this flower?

I have yet to be able to identify this flower. Does anyone recognize it? My mom's brother gave her some a few years ago, and I have never been able to figure it out.
